Candles have always held a special place in my heart. But my search for the perfect candle—one crafted with beautiful ingredients, an elegant appearance, and a fragrance that felt intentional—was quite the challenge.
Driven by my passion, I began researching candle-making and exploring the finest materials I could use to create candles of my own. During that magical process, I discovered something much bigger than a hobby. I discovered my true calling.
And just like that, Antonija Candles was born.
I believe fragrance has the power to transform an ordinary moment into a memory. A familiar scent can take us back to a person, a place, a celebration, or a feeling we thought we had forgotten. That connection between fragrance and memory is at the heart of everything I create.
My journey began with a simple desire: to create candles that were as beautiful as they were intentional. As I learned more about the ingredients commonly used in traditional candles, I became determined to find a cleaner, more luxurious alternative.
That search led me to coconut-apricot wax, a premium wax known for its creamy appearance, beautiful fragrance performance, and smooth, elegant burn. What started as a personal passion quickly became Antonija Candles—a collection of handcrafted candles created to elevate everyday living and make ordinary moments feel meaningful.
Every candle is hand-poured in Illinois using thoughtfully selected ingredients and carefully curated fragrance blends.

My candles are generously fragranced with carefully selected, memory-inspired scents—but they are created with a different philosophy.
I wanted people who are sensitive to overpowering, harsh fragrances to still be able to enjoy the beautiful experience of a scented candle. The goal is not to overwhelm a room, but to create an inviting fragrance experience that allows you to pause, breathe, feel, and remember.
